On 1 and 2 August 2026 the Seenachtsfest turns Bahnhofstraße in Schluchsee into a lively festival mile. Live music, an open-air disco, regional food, street art and a varied children’s programme accompany the weekend. On Saturday evening the high fireworks over the lake form the glowing highlight.

The Seenachtsfest is a two-day street festival in the centre of Schluchsee. On the festival mile in Bahnhofstraße, music groups, dance performances and street artists provide entertainment. Clubs from Schluchsee and regional food trucks take care of the culinary side.

On Saturday the Seenachtsfest begins at 2:00 pm with the barrel tapping by Mayor Jürgen Kaiser. The Trachtenkapelle Schluchsee-Blasiwald accompanies the opening with music.

Between the programme points there is time to stroll along the festival mile and discover what the clubs and food trucks have to offer. As darkness falls, all eyes finally turn to the lake.

Sunday begins at 10:30 am with a morning concert by the Senioren-Blaskapelle-Hochschwarzwald. The festival then continues with dance, music and the children’s programme.

On Sunday it is also possible to arrive on the historic museum train of the 3-Seenbahn. Current departure times should be checked in the official timetable before travelling.

The festival grounds are in Bahnhofstraße in the village of Schluchsee. As more traffic and a tight parking situation are to be expected on an event weekend, it is worth planning early.
